August - October

Wow, how has time gotten away from me with this thing again? Now I'm going to have to actually think of what happened the last few months... Gosh dang it!

August

Tubing The Salt River

Sadly, there is no pictures to go along with this adventure. But it was fun nonetheless. I took off the last day of public swim with one of the other guards, and we had a fun day of just being lazy on the river. Granted, it started with someone being a little grumpy in the morning... But hey, what can you do? The cold water took care of that! We did the top half of the river twice, which was so extremely fun. I screamed like heck during the rapids, and Justin made fun of me. Tis life. The second time around, we continued onto the second half. That half SUCKS. It goes so slow, and there are way too many dead spots! I blistered up for the first time in my life being I was just a sitting duck for the sun to attack. Stupid sun.

Cabin Trip

A couple weeks after the tubing adventure, I headed up north(eastern) with my mother for a trip to my cabin. I was thinking it'd be my last adventure here for the summer. Libby loved it, as always. And the place was gorgeous, as always. Nothing too eventful happened however.

Selling Teej

This was perhaps one of the saddest things that happened all year. My baby got sold, with very little noticed.

Jeeping

Jeremy and I packed up and headed to Colorado for the weekend, and brought his Jeep. That place is beautiful. The drive there is way too long though, I thought it was never going to end. Especially since we stayed in Ouray. Its like, hey you're in Silverton! But you've still got an hour to go. Not to mention on the way to Ouray, we stopped off and did a hike. And saw beavers, and a lake. Ready for the onslaught of pictures?

Me Looking for the Beaver

Once we got to Ouray, we explored the town some... Then ate at the restaurant underneath our hotel. Which I really wasn't impressed with. At all. The next morning, there was an Immogene Pass Race. Like, on foot. Crazy people... Why would you do that to yourself? Surprisingly, a lot of the runners were from Flagstaff. They must run the San Francisco Peaks, or something. But after that, we had a sad complimentary breakfast at the hotel, then headed out for the day. We went through Silverton, hoping that our jerky guy would be open early. Sadly he wasn't. Which is extra depressing, because that might of been the main reason I was on the trip. I love my jerky! :( I'm depressed now just thinking about it. Maybe a winter ski trip to Durango Mountain... Then hoping he's open.

Anyways, the rest of the day, we went up to California (first two pictures), then to Cinnamon (not pictured), into Lake City where we at lunch (the lake is pictured), then back through Engineer Pass (pictured). We ended the day eating at the Ouray Brewery, which was pretty good. We also ate at an ice cream place earlier in the day. It was awesome, best ice cream sundae thing ever. Like, I'm in love with it for some reason. Super rich, not sure how they do it!

The next morning we set out early, went over Imogene Pass to Telluride, at breakfast at some place where I got a donut... Then headed home on another long drive.

Roadtrip

The beginning of the month, I went on a roadtrip with Amber. For a photo project of hers. We camped on the rim the first night, made an awesome fire and s'mores. The next day we drove around, then camped on the rim again. There was more than that... But I'm loosing steam for this post.

Cabin Trip

Near the end of the month, I took off to my cabin for a truly last trip up there of the year. With my cousin and her hubby! And Libby, of course. It was fun, and just more fun. Fires, s'mores, hot chocolate... Airsoft wars. It was a great weekend, no doubt.

Summer Has Come and Past

Wow, this last month has been kind of amazing. :) Actually, this last month and a half-ish has been amazing. Like, what could be better? Can't imagine much. Life's good that's for sure.

Summer Lovin'

Wow, its actually been a semi-eventful month or two. With Havasupai and all that. Although some of the events will be left out (and if I'm going on a Denny's date with you, I can tell you more specifics later).

Havasupai Trip, June 2012

Wow, can you say awesome adventure? Well, if you can, you're describing my weekend in a nutshell.

Tuesday, June 5, 2012

Generally, I love the water and swimming. Except during summer. Then I hate it, and I also hate children. Work kind of kills things for me. I want to just die. Especially after today, when the children seemed to be especially horrible.

This weekend, however, I get a vacation. What kind? Havasupai! I'm super excited, and hopefully it'll go well and I'll survive.

May 2012 Greer Trip

So, probably just about two week ago, I decided I wanted to take a trip to Greer. If you keep updated with my blog, or just with me in general, you know that my family has a cabin up there. And its like my favorite place, ever.

But it was kind of a spur of the moment idea to go. I had three days that I didn't have to work last week. Wednesday - Friday. And that'd be my last real gap in work until... well, probably August. Which is really a depressing thought. As I'm enjoying a day off right now, that I accidentally requested off instead of tomorrow. Which is my brother's dental school graduation. I'm just a smart one.

But anyways, I went up there with the lovely Amber-girl. We brought Libby along as well. The adventures began fairly quickly.

Ghost of Me

This new blogger format is really throwing me off. Me no like-y!

Anyways, that's all I'm going to complain about that. For now. But the last time I posted, was roughly a month ago... Which is actually pretty dang frequent for me lately!

But here's my month:

Life... Once Again.

What have I been up to lately?
Well, to sum it up...

Almosts

I do not want to have many almosts in my life.
I don't want to almost finish school.
I don't want to almost be happy.
I don't want to almost fall in love.
I don't want to almost accomplish what I want.

I want to reach that point of finishing what I start. Kind of like an all or nothing thing.

School. Life. Everything.

Well, as I sit here in the middle of the University Center (or UCENT as its more commonly known) with nothing to do other than homework for the next three hours, I am inclined to slack off. And generally that means blogging... Or facebook... Or Netflix... And even for a while Tumblr. Lately it has not meant blogging. But that's okay, because I had a life-type thing for a while. Now, I don't know if you could call it that exactly. It died with the outpouring of dishonesty from people. So right now I am in the transitional point of friends. I've got the awesome ones that I have always had. A lot of those people are getting married though. Like Natalie and Tialene. Craziness.

But, right now I am in my fourth semester at ASU. And I including this one, I only have three left. So that's a year and a half left. And then I will be done with my bachelors... Trying to figure out what to do with it. If I want to continue to go onto a dietetics internship or what. Speaking of internships, though, I am applying for one in Alaska this summer. Its nutrition related, and I'll get to teach classes. But I'll also get to teach sports and stuff like that. Even swim! That'd be awesome. Plus, I've always wanted to go to Alaska. Its on my list of two places that I want to visit. Because I don't really care about anywhere else. Alaska and Germany. There you go... My life would be complete!

So... Internship... School... Explosion of social life... Nothing else really has happened in my life. I mean, the last one has caused the most drama in my life. But isn't that always so? And I've just decided not to care anymore. People are dishonest, and that's that. You can't change someone without them wanting to change personally. Even if they know that they are in the wrong, they will act none the wiser. And that's just how they choose to live their lives. Good for them? But not really, because dishonesty is hardly ever good. But, once you deal with people like that, I feel you come out a much stronger person before. And I definitely feel that I have. Go me. :)

I really am just rambling in this thing, with no real goal or anything... So I'm just going to call it before things get too weird. Haha.
